Renaissance Capital’s response to the Covid - 19 Pandemic

These are extraordinary times as the world takes significant steps to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 virus.

At Renaissance Capital, our foremost priority is to protect the health of our staff, our clients and members of the communities we live and work.

Effective 16 March 2020, Renaissance Capital has invoked its Business Continuity Plan ("BCP") with the aim of ensuring continuity of service to our clients on a business as usual mode. Our BCP has been designed with redundancy and resiliency for crucial times like these.

We advise you that we are on a business as usual mode even after initiating our BCP.

Measures taken include moving a significant part of our staff at our global locations to operating remotely from home, whilst empowering local office managers to employ rotational staffing practices as appropriate. All travel has been terminated and communications and meetings are taking place by phone or through the internet.

We have also tested the resilience of our communications with exchanges, clearing houses, brokers, custodians and banks with which we cooperate. We confirm that these are not impacted by the remote working or other measures we have undertaken.

The extended geographical footprint of our franchise also ensures, in case of any measures by any individual country / government beyond our control, that we have cross office support, therefore enabling seamless service to you.

We consider that our capital and liquidity buffers, underpinned by robust risk management framework and processes, provide a strong base for us during the ongoing market turmoil. We continue to compute Group capital adequacy under the provisions of the EU Directive on prudential requirements for credit institutions and investment firms.

At times like these, characterized by extreme market volatility, we recognize that it is important for you to be able to reach out to your Client Management, Sales and Trading or Settlement contacts. Please continue to use the usual communication channels that you have used in your commercial relationship with us to date as these remain unchanged.

Finally, we want to assure you that your data protection and confidentiality of business dealings remain key priorities for us. Our BCP ensures that we continue to exercise the same high level degree of diligence in this respect.

For any further information and clarifications, please reach out to your usual contacts.

We thank you for your valuable business through these challenging times and wish you and your families health and safety at all times.
