Renaissance Capital merges equity and fixed income sales under Evgueni Konovalenko’s leadership

Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging and frontier markets investment bank, announces that the Firm’s Equity and FI international sales are to merge under Evgueni Konovalenko’s leadership in order to provide a seamless one-window client product offering and further strengthen team synergies.

Evgueni will expand his role and lead Renaissance Capital’s equity and fixed income international sales coverage as Head of International Sales. In this role, he will focus on enhancing the Firm’s global sales outreach and client offering, and co-ordinate the distribution of international equity and fixed income products across Renaissance Capital’s global hubs – London, New York, Sub-Saharan and South Africa offices.

Evgueni was previously Head of Russia and CIS Equities, managing Renaissance Capital’s equity activities across these markets and helping to enhance cross-regional co-ordination. Prior to joining Renaissance Capital, he worked at Merrill Lynch in New York in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group and at UBS in London in the Structured Products Group, where he was responsible for marketing and selling structured derivatives products to Russia and other CIS financial institutions. Evgueni graduated from Columbia College, Columbia University with a BA in Economics.
